Seas The Day: Mr. & Mrs. Farmer 8.30.15

Melissa and David said "I do" out on the deck before sailing into a happy marriage!

The deck had chairs lined up with candle holders filled with colored sand and seashells that formed an isle. In the corner was a cocktail table which was set up for their sand ceremony where bride and groom blended white and blue sand into a picture frame.

The reception was outfitted with nautical/beach decorations throughout the room. The tables had two different style center pieces. One style included a tall vase with potpourri center among small candleholders willed with sand and seashells. The other style center piece was a large round dish filled with sand, seashells, and multiple candles.

As guests walked into the reception they signed the captains steering wheel and wrote advice for a message in the bottle. The advice for a happy marriage was written on small pieces of paper and then folded before being placed in the designated bottle. The advice will remain in the bottle until Melissa and David's one year anniversary.

The wedding cake had a unique and compact cake topper! The topper displayed a sassy bride and a groom who had a ball and chain attached to his ankle. Love is sweet so to go along with the cake there was a candy buffet set up for guests to enjoy sweets during the party as well as take home as a favor.

Before Melissa and David drove off to their after party, friends and family sent the bride and groom off with congratulations and bubbles!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Farmer! May your marriage be smooth sailing forever and always!

Thank you to all the vendors who helped with Melissa and David's big day!
