Thankfully, the rain held off for an afternoon ceremony for Melissa and Greg at
The RiverRoom! The ceremony and reception was on Sunday, April 26 and the weather was great for a deck ceremony. Fifty chairs were set up for the ceremony as well as an white arch, provided by
Etc. Party Rentals. Officiant
David Holt conducted the outdoor ceremony with a lovely service.
Jason Andre, a mandolin player, played while the newly married couple walked down the aisle after their ceremony.
They brought in their own food including finger foods and barbecue. They also brought in their own bar drinks of beer and wine. The centerpieces of a hydrangea flower arrangement were handmade by a family member. The hydrangeas were surrounded by several candles. A family member also made and decorated the beautiful cake. All hands on deck by the family to execute this lovely event!
L & L Rentals provided the linens.
The Audio Visual People provided the hanging Edison lights. Kevin, a good friend of the couple and one of Wilmington's top wedding photographers with
KMI Photography, shot the wedding for them. He even brought his selfie stick (see the goofy selfie photo below).

The two-tiered cake was made by a family member. It was as delicious as most professionals! DJ David with
DJ Professionals introduced the couple and MC'd for the night as well as initiating dancing for the night! The Bride danced throughout the night, even while cleaning up! The guests looked like they had a great time! We wish Melissa & Greg a wonderful marriage and lifetime of happiness! Congrats to you both!
I got married there earlier this year and cannot say enough positive things about the entire experience of working with their manager and the service, food and venue. The coordinators from New York wedding venues managed my wedding, and were impeccable wedding Angels.
