Comic Con Ceremony & Reception: Kayloni & Scott ~ RSVP: The RiverRoom Blog

Kayloni & Scott Pachillis wed on a gorgeous October Friday on The RiverRoom's outdoor deck. The top deck was set up for seating 45 of their closest family and friends were in attendance of the intimate ceremony, officiated by a family friend. The ceremony faced the water with the beautiful Cape Fear River in the background! The photographer for the night was a family friend, Trish of Once In A Lifetime Photography, who captured the memorable moments throughout the night.

There was a blue and gray color scheme throughout the room with simple floral centerpieces designed by the wedding coordinator, Ashli of Ashli Bee Events. Party Suppliers provided the blue linens and gray chevron table runners. The centerpieces had the most intricate floral touches to it made from comic book pages adding to the comic con theme in the room. Even the bridal bouquets had the comic book flowers on them! Ashli Bee Events did a wonderful job coordinating & designing the event for such a fun couple. Ashli even designed Kayloni's superhero wedding shoes!

The hung Edison lights were provided by The Audio Visual People. Thyme Savor Catering did an amazing job with heavy appetizers, pulled pork sliders, bacon wrapped shrimp and much more! They also set up an iced tea bar in the food nook. The cake made by One Belle Bakery was a three layer confection with red velvet, mocha fudge and almond layers. The toppers of the cake were figurines of Kayloni and Scott painted by Ashli!

Kayloni & Scott had some creative decor ideas for this comic con themed wedding reception! The seating chart was arranged on an easel in the entrance way with a big "POW". There were custom K & S letters with old comic pages paper mached on top. We love the fun advice sheets on the guest book table. Ashli Bee also designed the pretty chalkboard bar!

There were 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen in the bridal party and all had some warm words of encouragement during the toast! DJ David with DJ Professionals had the crowd going all night with top hits. The bride and groom with their guests looked to have a great time!
