Brandi & Greg's RiverFest 2014 Wedding ~ RSVP: The RiverRoom Blog

Brandi & Greg became Mr. and Mrs. Guay on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon, October 4th, 2014! It was RiverFest weekend here in Wilmington and over 40,000 people traveled to Wilmington for the special holiday weekend.

They wed on the outdoor deck with 80 of their friends and family in attendance. It was a gorgeous day for an outdoor ceremony! Han Hills was chosen as the officiant for the ceremony. Tina of The RiverRoom, along with Melissa of Knot Too Shabby Events, provided joint ceremony & reception coordination/design services for the newlyweds. Devin Wilson with Pura Soul Photography captured the joyous moments during the ceremony and reception. Check out this video slideshow Devan created on his blog! The room was decorated in gorgeous fall colors of brown, white, burlap with pops of yellow and orange throughout. A great way to incorporate the changing colors outdoors into an October wedding! Fine Flowers by Fiore provided all of the flowers for the wedding including the greenery for the deck ceremony. Brandi's bouquet was so pretty with pops of orange, yellow, green and purple! We added many rustic decor elements to the reception area with custom wood palette wall art & old window frames with pictures of the couple. Brandi even made twine-wrapped wine bottles that spell out "L-O-V-E" pictured below.

Tammy with Creative Cake Design did a phenomenal job once again with the cake! We love the touches of burlap flowers on the cake, atop of a rustic tree stump.

Middle of the Island catered the reception with the Wedding Favorite Package. DJ David with DJ Professionals kept the guests entertained all night long with top hits and classic songs. Luckily, the couple was able to enjoy RiverFest fireworks at the end of the night with all of their guests on the riverfront deck! What a great way to end the night! We wish you the best in your future Brandi, Greg & your two adorable sons!
