Jillian and Colton celebrated their big day here at
The RiverRoom in
Downtown Wilmington on Friday, August 22nd, 2014! Their fiesta themed wedding was very colorful and exciting. The couple hired
Officiant Tony Atkins to conduct the ceremony. Scott and Erica of
Emerald Design Photography were here to capture all of Jillian and Colton's exciting moments.
Jillian and Colton held the ceremony outside on The RiverRoom deck. There were rectangular and round tables set up for guests with gray linens and colorful accents for the reception inside. Everything was so bright and fun! They were able to seat around 90 guests. Interestingly enough, the guests sat on wooden benches outside instead of the usual white chairs. Very neat!
Hot Pink Cake Stand baked the cupcake variety and one very large cupcake topper! The guest book they chose was very adorable as well! They used a polaroid camera for guest to take photos of themselves and then place them inside an album with glue dots! So fun!
Party Suppliers helped set up the deck ceremony, inside reception and cocktail house inside. The colors represented that of a fiesta, being gray accented by red, pink, yellow, orange, blue and green. Beautiful sunflower florals were used as centerpieces created by
Salt Harbor. A friend of the bride and groom held down the bar for the night and two servers were available to help cater the nachos and festive foods by
Art Catering.
The brother of the bride played the violin during the ceremony. The party continued on thanks to
DJ Professionals for providing audio for the reception. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Weaver! All of us here at The RiverRoom wish you many years of fun, love and happiness!
We loved having our wedding at The RiverRoom! The view from both the deck and inside the room are beautiful, the built in bar was perfect for allowing us to bring our own beverages and bartender, and the staff was so helpful every time we had questions or concerns. We had about 90 people in attendance. We did have a little bit of a tricky time figuring out the best way to seat that many people out on the deck for our ceremony, but it turned out perfect and everyone had a good view. DJ Professionals were great and played a great mix of music to get everyone up and moving. It was a wonderful day!
