Lower Cape Fear Hospice Board Appreciation Dinner

Tonight is a night dedicated to showing appreciation to the Board of Directors and Foundation Board of Trustees of the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter. It is their 8th annual dinner showing appreciation to the board members that have worked hard to make this organization successful. Community volunteers interested in the hospice concept of care founded Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Inc. in Wilmington, North Carolina in 1980. Over the years, the organization has expanded to meet the needs of more patients and reach out into the community.

Dorene Harris is the Executive Admin Coordinator of Lower Cape Fear Hospice and she organized everything! About 50 members and volunteers are present for the dinner. The room is beautifully decorated with purple and green linens, rented from Etc. Party Rentals, going along with the colors of the organization's logo. Middle of the Island Catering served a delicious, buffet-style meal! There is also beer and wine available for the guests.

While the guests are enjoying their dinner, a welcome and brief history of the organization is being presented to inform the members more about the organization that they're so passionate about. We love hearing more about this amazing organization and we're honored to have our space used for this event!
