On a rainy Saturday in August, we were at The RiverRoom celebrating Tracy's upcoming wedding! Tracy found her true love and she's going to be tying the knot in Wilmington but first, we hosted the bridal shower! Tracy's sister in law, Kelly, threw the party for Tracy, selecting a catering, picking a florist, hiring a rental company and everything else it takes to throw a beautiful event.
Kelly rented navy chevron linens with pink napkins from Party Suppliers. They used 5 4ft round tables to provide seating for the 30 guests. She designed the floral vases with navy nautical rope and added some nautical charms. Then, Fiore Fine Flowers finished the look by adding amazing florals. They designed all of the table arrangements and one large, gorgeous arrangement!
Hanging edison lights and white Chinese lanterns were rented from The Audio Visual People. Even during the day, the room was beautifully lit and the ambiance was stellar.
The food was prepared by a family friend, Lori. Lori is a catering chef who typically goes to peoples homes for parties and such! The food was delicious! She cut out a watermelon and made two sailboats, one filled with fruit salad, the other with watermelon and feta salad! The desserts came from Sweet and Savory! Yum!
After we all ate, Tracy opened up her gifts from all of her dear girlfriends! Before they all left, they grabbed a party favor created by Kelly. She used blue mason jars and filled them with sand, sea shells and a candle votive. So cute! We all had a great time even though it rained all day! The mimosa bar may have helped! ;) Until next time...
Cheers!
