What better way to ring in the fall than a Sunday wedding on September 30, 2012? Ashley Jackson became Mrs. Scott Henry today on
The RiverRoom waterfront deck at 4:00pm.
The Three Divas were on site to make it all happen! For those of you who are not familiar with The Three Divas, they are a mother-daughters team who offer a range of wedding services from event design to cake design and much more. This was my first experience with them and I am in love. Diva #1, Deborah, is the mother behind the vision. Deborah's two daughters, Jennifer and Rebeckah are Diva #2 and #3. They were such a joy to work with and they really made The RiverRoom pop with Ashley's choice of fall colors...orange, purple and light olive. Everything was beautiful. There were three different table arrangement styles between the twelve round tables. The Divas also do amazing floral design. Each centerpiece was put together perfectly!

The deck had seating for 65 guest and the ceremony was done facing the center of the JW Brooks Building. An arbor was rented from
L&L Tent & Party Rentals but The Three Divas added some beautiful flowers and metallic tulle to spruce it up. Ashley and Scott had a beautiful ceremony where they even took a moment to embrace a foot washing ritual. After the 30 minute ceremony, guests entered The RiverRoom to begin cocktail hour.
Middle of the Island served shrimp and grits in martini glasses. It was delicious too! Middle of the Island also prepared a tasty dinner buffet with marinated chicken, shrimp alfredo pasta, green beans, squash casserole, pear salad, broccoli salad, strawberry salad and more! What a feast!

Ashley and Scott shared a tender first dance to "Old Love" by Brad Paisley. Ashley danced with her father to "I Hope You Dance" by Lee Ann Womack and Scott danced with his mom to "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. Eric with
DJ Professionals continued to kill the good tunes and kept us dancing all night. One of my favorite parts of the evening was seeing all three of the Divas on the dance floor! It was great! They are hard workers but know when to have fun as well!
George Joell is a photographer from Jacksonville that the couple selected. George was there to capture all of the special moments during their big day!
