After the short wedding ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Parsons went to go take pictures with their bridal party and families. Jennifer Hook is a photographer and friend from New York and came down to NC to shoot Samantha's wedding. The rest of the guest stayed behind in The RiverRoom to enjoy some appetizers and drinks during cocktail hour. Wild Wing Cafe was the caterer and provided drop off service. They served barbecue pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, green beans, loaded potato salad and chicken skewers for dinner.
Thanks to Eric with DJ Professionals for providing awesome DJ and MC service for the evening. Samantha and Sam's first dance was "Heaven" by DJ Sammy. After dinner, Samantha danced with her father to "Then They Do" by Trace Adkins. Sam danced with his mother to "Through the Years" by Kenny Rogers.
Samantha did a great job with decorating The RiverRoom. Her colors were pink and black. The centerpieces were silk flowers with black marbles in a circular vase. The waterfall effect lights were set to bright pink and really went well with the overall color theme. They had seating for 62 guests, 10 four foot round tables with 6 people each and a sweetheart table. L&L Tent and Party Rentals provided linens, 2 extra round tables, a sweetheart table and 12 white resin chairs.
The Parsons' had a gorgeous pink and white wedding cake. A family friend designed the cake for the happy couple. The party favors were given out to guest at the end of the evening. They gifted a little case of breath mints to each guest.
