The party then moved inside to The RiverRoom which was decorated by the talented bridesmaids with help from Etc. Party Rentals to continue the celebration. The reception began with a cocktail hour and social time to classic 20's style music provided by DJ Professionals. After the introductions, the new Mr. and Mrs. Reilly and their guests enjoyed a delicious buffet by Middle of the Island Catering. They served marinated chicken breast, turkey & gravy, stuffing, mac & cheese, sweet potatoes, green beans, salad and cobbler! Yummmm!
Around 8:00pm, it was time for the beautiful cake created by the bridal parties own, Heather Ivy-Sutterfield. The cake was a three tier white cake with lots of bling! It was gorgeous and tasted as good as it looked!
Next, we got into our formal dances. As the lyrics of "Honeybee" by Coral Sea played on the dance floor, Amy and John shared their first dance. One of the most touching moments of the night was while John was dancing with his mother, Patsy, and Amy and their 2-year old son, Evan, shared a special moment dancing to "What a Wonderful World". The guests enjoyed the music of DJ Professionals as they danced the night away to classic 80's music and other classic and fun tunes.
Richard Barlow Photography was on deck to capture all the exciting, special moments. Jessica Ensminger, a family friend, was the videographer for their big day too! One of their friends, who is also a bartender at Orton's, came over for the night to bartend the reception.
The night finished up in a true "Tiffany's sparkling" fashion, with a sparkler send-off and, of course, lots of love. We were so glad we could help make Amy and John's day so special and we wish the happy couple many years of love and blessings!
