American Cancer Society Breakfast Rally

On Thursday, September 13, 2013, The RiverRoom hosted a Breakfast Rally for the American Cancer Society South Atlantic Division. The breakfast started at 7:30am. They are kicking off a cancer prevention study. The local research study is going to monitor non-cancer patients over the next 30 year to see how cancer can progress in the human body. The event was also a great time to share stories of cancer survivorship from a few volunteers.

Breakfast was provided by the catering staff at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. They served cold foods such as pastries and cereal.

Rachel Urban was the coordinator from the American Cancer Society and did a great job organizing this event. Thank you very much for choosing The RiverRoom to host your breakfast! It was our pleasure!
