Lucas and Irina, the bride and groom to-be, celebrated a southern rehearsal dinner here at The RiverRoom. They brought 110 of their closest friends and family to The RiverRoom following their Wedding Rehearsal at The Oceanic.
Fresh peaches were found on all of the tables and all around the room. They were such a hit that many of them were nibbled on by the end of the night. However, their guests went home with bellies full of barbecue and comfort food from Casey's Buffet. Casey's provided pork BBQ, fried chicken, chicken pastry, brunswick stew, mac and cheese, cole slaw, hush puppies, collard greens, beans, and homemade rolls.
The groomsmen made peach sangria and peach bourbon, while Casey's Buffet provided their authentic sweet tea and lemonade as well. Beverages were displayed in beehive dispensers to match the nights southern theme.
The peaches were brought in from the farm the groom grew up on, adding such a sweet, personal touch to the rehearsal dinner. In true Southern fashion, the couple sent their guests home with pounds of BBQ and tea.
