Kelci & Tre Hunter 10.10.15

Kelci and Sam (Tre) Hunter made the most out of their rainy wedding day and ended up with fabulous pictures taken by Michael Escobar with McGraw Photo Studios.

The morning started with a lovely set up out on the deck. The ceremony was to take place with the Cape Fear River as the backdrop under an arbor made by Julia's Florist. White benches were set up in several rows for guests to sit and watch Kelci and Tre say their vows.

With the rain not letting up the ceremony was moved inside and took place in front of the arched windows. Knot Too Shabby Events moved the arbor and a few benches inside to replicate the look of the deck ceremony inside.

Programs were provided to guests which informed them of the order of the ceremony: music starts, we get married, everyone parties!

The happy couple sweetly smiled at each other throughout their entire ceremony officiated by Skip Corbett of A Beach Wedding Minister.

The room was set up for the 107 guest with round tables in the main area as well as tables in the nook across from the bar. Each table was set for seven guests, had alternating white and silver table runners,  and centerpieces which included candles and large mason jars with purple flowers.

After the ceremony guests were directed to sign the Hunter's guestbooks, one was a thumbprint tree where guests used blue and green ink to leave their print on the tree, the other was a silver painted "K" and "T" where guests could sign their name and leave good wishes for the newlyweds.

The chalkboard bar was designed and drawn by Southern Bee Designs, it was beautifully designed and went very well with the Hunter's rustic romantic theme.

After a delicious dinner by Middle of the Island, it was time to cut the cake! Red velvet, chocolate, and vanilla cupcakes along with cake from Coastal Cupcakes was served as dessert.

Congratulations Kelci and Tre Hunter! Thank you to all the vendors who helped!
