The centerpieces for the larger, round tables included extravagant tiger lilies were designed by the bride. To go along with the rustic theme, these lilies were also orange and yellow. Being much larger than the average centerpiece, these lilies definitely made a statement at the reception!
Middle of The Island did a fabulous job of providing dinner for all of the guests. Before the buffet style dinner, guests mingled and enjoyed appetizers and drinks. For dinner, there were 6 food stations set up for the guests to visit and servers floating around from Middle of The Island to be available if needed. Stations will continue to be a big wedding trend in 2015. The bar offered 2 signature drinks, a selection of beer and even some wine for everyone to enjoy. Mark & his artistic children designed the bar the morning of the wedding. I love the way it all turned out!
There was a DJ from DJ Professionals and Video at the reception to make sure the event ran smoothly as the master of ceremony and did a great job getting everyone on the dance floor for some very special dances. Edison Lights were hung and provided by The Audio Visual People to keep the rustic vibe throughout the evening. The couple hired a local photographer from Billy Beach Photography to get some shots of their reception later on in the night.
We enjoyed hosting your wedding reception here at The RiverRoom, Laureen and Mark! We wish you many years of happiness.
Nice post!
