The RiverRoom held newlyweds Marc and Emily Neill's wedding reception on Sunday, October 12, 2014.
Platinum Limo had the couple and the bridal party arriving to the reception in style after they enjoyed a wonderful beach ceremony on Kure Beach, NC.

The room was set up with eight round tables and three bistro tables with navy blue linens provided by
Etc. Party Rentals. The tables had painted blue mason jar vases, accented with a seashell, bursting with a brightly colored mixture of sunflowers and daisies. The bride & her bridesmaids designed these pretty floral centerpieces. The beach inspired centerpieces were completed with a small burlap and lace overlay. They also used The RiverRoom's deck with a few bistro tables and some benches for extra seating during cocktail hour.

Middle of the Island catered and served food for the event with a delicious buffet, while
Ellen Hindman provided a variety of mouth-watering cupcakes, offering four different flavors for all of the guests to indulge in for dessert. The cupcakes were displayed beautifully in the arched window with white lanterns hung above.

The couple brought in beer and wine from
Windham Distributing Co., and gave their guests small mason jars to drink from and also to keep as party favors.
Lindsey Walters photographed the big day and captured all the cherished memories. Lindsey is friends with the bride and groom so she doesn't have a business name but we really enjoyed working with her. We appreciate sharing some of these images too! Thanks to
DJ Professionals who kept the crowd dancing throughout the night! It was a great evening here at The RiverRoom as we celebrated Emily and Marc's love. We thank you for allowing us to be apart of your wedding day and we wish you many years of love and happiness! Congrats!

I don't think I can say enough good things about The RiverRoom. Melissa is extremely helpful, and always quick with a response on any issue. The space itself is wonderful; very easy to set up in a number of different ways, great floor for dancing, and the views are just beautiful. It is an incredible deal, as well.
