Sasha and Bryan's Fall Affair!

Saturday, October 12, 2013 is the biggest wedding day of the year. Researchers suggest that over 21,000 brides are getting married across the States today! We've got our very own special wedding reception taking place at The RiverRoom this evening! Sasha Tokarev is marrying her Southern gentleman, Bryan Bevell. The two tied the knot at The Arboretum at 3:00pm and then guests headed downtown to The RiverRoom for the wedding reception!

Jana with Design a Dream was hired as Sasha and Bryan's day-of coordinator! She is always such a breeze to work with and the room looked spectacular. They hung different shades of orange and brown lanterns over the dance floor. It looked beautiful with the crinkle orange linens! L&L Tent & Party Rentals provided extra tables, chairs and linens, while Party Suppliers provided the chaffing dishes and serving platters.
Theresa with Bella Florals designed the gorgeous centerpieces. Each centerpiece was a little different from the next and some of the flowers were even grown locally in Theresa home garden! The arrangements popped perfectly on top of the orange linens!

The food was prepared by neighbors and friends of Bryan and Sasha. One of them is the chef at Sawmill Catering so when Bryan and Sasha got engaged, they knew exactly who to ask. This was definitely a "foodie" group...serving lots of favorites such as a gourmet fruit and cheese display, salmon display, shrimp cocktail and lots more! We prepared appetizers on a four-tiered display over the dance floor and then moved it after dinner. They served everything from oysters and caviar to filet mignon and a mashed potatoes bar!

DJ Nick of DJ Professionals introduced the bridal party around 5:00pm. Then, Sasha and Bryan had their first dance to "Love Will Keep Us Alive" by the Eagles. They may or may not have taken a dance lesson (or two) before. They def. had smooth moves! You should have seen Sasha's spin! I captured it on film though! Next, Sasha danced with her father to "Somewhere Out There" by Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram. Bryan then danced with his mother to "Then They Do" by Trace Adkins.
Tammy with Creative Cakes baked the cake topper and cupcakes. There were three types of cupcakes: pumpkin, funfetti and key lime pie! We cut the cake around 7:00pm! It tasted even better than it looked- yum!
The couple had the benefit of bringing in their own bar and bartender. They served beer and wine and a friend of the day-of coordinator came to bartend! As party favors, each guests was given a koozie to keep their drink cold! They had a sign on the bar with cab numbers. This was a great idea and highly encouraged!
After dinner and cake, we danced the night away! Fun fact about our beautiful Bride - she's an Olympic trained figure skater! You could definitely tell she had moves out on the dance floor! Check out these videos from our Instagram!

We had such a good time getting to know this couple here tonight! Congratulations Bryan and Sasha! We wish you all the best! Much love!
