Everyone came together to make their dream wedding happen in a short amount of time. Friends came to help set up and all hands were on deck. Susan's good friend, Robin, headed up the decoration team with only two hours to set up before the ceremony! Some members of their church brought food to share, while Sawmill Catering provided the majority of the food. We sure did eat well with country-fried steak, chicken with rice pilaf, green beans, cole slaw, sausage balls, and some of the best chicken salad I've ever had! Yum!
After dinner, Susan and Johnny had their first dance and cut the cake. Their new family is divided by the Atlanta Braves and University of Alabama sports teams so their cake topper had two A's on it. Hot Pink Cake Stand baked the cake topper and lots of cupcakes!
The guestbook they chose was a matte-board frame where each guest was asked to write a brief message and sign. The party favors were chocolate candies, placed at each table setting. A friend of Susan's shot the wedding and reception for the bride and groom and they used our house sound system to play a personalized playlist to have as background music.
Around 8:00pm, Susan and Johnny started saying their goodbyes and thanking all of the guest for coming. They are getting ready to go on a honeymoon to the Grand Canyon! We hope you all have a blast. CONGRATULATIONS! We are sooo happy for you both. Thanks for choosing The RiverRoom as your wedding venue!!!
