Amanda and Ben's rehearsal dinner - March 2013

On one of the last days in March 2013, The RiverRoom hosted a rehearsal dinner for Amanda L. and Ben K. We met Amanda and Ben back in August 2012 when they were planning their wedding reception. Originally, Amanda and Ben decided to book us for the reception, but as their guest list grew, they outgrew our venue for their big day. Instead, we decided to host the smaller rehearsal dinner here! All we had to do is transfer their deposit to a new date (since it was prior to the 60 day cut off period). On Friday, March 29, 2013, the rehearsal dinner began at 6:00pm and lasted until about 9:00pm. They invited about 50-60 guest to join them for a night on the River. Moe's Southwest Grill of Wilmington dropped off a taco bar for guest to enjoy! They brought in their own beer and wine to serve.

The room looked beautiful with hanging Italian lights from DJ Professionals & Video. The room was very bright and colorful with their desired Mexican party theme. They had pinatas and fiesta flags! Amanda rented tan linens from Party Suppliers and used the tables and chairs that The RiverRoom already provides. The cupcakes were homemade and tasted delicious! Each had a festive, paper Mexican hat on top. You had the choice of vanilla or chocolate with various colored icing.

Congratulations to Ben and Amanda! They tied the knot downtown Wilmington the following day, March 30th. We wish you both the best! Thank you for allowing The RiverRoom to be a part of your special day!
