Megan and Nate's Summer Love

On Sunday, July 22, 2012 Megan Grochala married her love, Nate Becker. Megan and Nate exchanged vows on Carolina Beach at 4pm. They rented charter buses to bring guests from the ceremony to the reception at The RiverRoom. The reception began at 5pm with cocktail hour. Once the Bride and Groom arrived, the party was on! Bon Appetit prepared a delicious meal for all to enjoy! They served chicken, spinach, and pepper jack quesadillas, Tuscany white bean and cheese bruschetta, tri-colored tortellini with garden vegetables in a balsamic vinaigrette, cocktail shrimp and more.
After dinner, Megan and Nate had their first dance to "You've Got A Good Thing" by Lady Antebellum.  Next, Nate danced with his mother to "I Turn To You" by Christina Aguilera. Megan also had a special dance with her grandfather; they danced to "Love You To The Moon" by Dolly Parton. Then, Megan's father stepped on the dance floor as the two danced to a special mix created by the Bride and Groom. Once the formal dancing was complete, Megan, Nate and their guests were ready to dance the night away with tunes from Eric with DJ Professionals.
The room was decorated beautifully in a beach themed wedding with blue and hot pink accent colors. The escort cards were sand dollars with each guests' name written on it. This was a really cute way to tie in the theme instead of just using generic paper name tags. Instead of a traditional guests book, the couple opted to a signed picture frame that they can display in their new house. A donation was made in honor of the guests to the Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation in place of party favors.
Chuck Toy, a family friend, shot their wedding pictures. Julia's Florist provided flowers for the ceremony at the beach. The cake was designed by Kathy Canby, a cake artist out of Jacksonville. Lastly, L&L loaned us additional tables, chairs and linens. Thank you to all of the vendors who made this wedding happen flawlessly!
We sent them off in style through a row of sparklers held by all of their loved ones to end the night. We are so happy for Nate and Megan! CONGRATULATIONS! We wish you an eternity of love and happiness!
