Kellie & Sam's North Carolina Wedding Day

On Sunday, September 28, 2014, Kellie and Sam tied the knot with the beautiful outdoor deck here at The RiverRoom! The bridal party got ready at The Loft on Front before making their way to The RiverRoom. Then, the lovely couple exchanged their "I do's" under an elegant bamboo arbor overlooking the Cape Fear River. The arbor was rented through A Beach People Wedding, who also officated the short ceremony. About eighty of the couple's closest friends and family came together to celebrate the immense love between these two!

After the ceremony was complete, Kellie and Sam shared their first dance out on the deck before moving inside for the rest of the cocktail hour and reception! The bridal party circled around as the couple shared an intimate moment on the deck. Inside The RiverRoom looked beautiful with beach inspiration for this coastal, peacock themed wedding. The color scheme of the wedding were peacock blues, greens, and pinks, as seen in the bridal party and in Kellie's awesome shoes!

Once cocktail hour was concluded, guests moved inside to welcome the newlyweds! The room was set up with eight round tables and chairs provided by The RiverRoom. L&L Tent and Party Rentals also provided four 8-foot tables and the linens for the night. We like the way they had the large head-table in the middle with round tables places on both sides. Special thanks to The Audio Visual People for the romantic Edison lights that really brought the room together! The bride did her own centerpieces and decorations for the event. We love these "Message in a Bottle" party favors!

Next, it was time to eat! Everyone enjoyed delicious food catered by Middle of the Island Catering or dessert, Kellie and Sam had an oreo and milk display instead of the wedding traditional cake!
