Rose and Jay's Special Day ~ RSVP: The RiverRoom Blog

It was a on a cold, blustery Saturday that Rose Arcieri became Mrs. Jay Forino. On November 17, 2012, the couple became one at St. Mary's Catholic Church. After the ceremony, guests arrived at The RiverRoom for a chilly but fun cocktail hour on the outside deck. They had a bar set up on the top part of the deck with cocktail tables on the lower level. The bartenders were friends of Rose and Jay's from Hell's Kitchen.

Around 5:00pm, the guests moved inside to continue the celebration. The RiverRoom looked picture perfect with the help from Party Suppliers & Rentals Inc with black and white linens and beautiful flower arrangements created by Rose's friend, Julia. After pictures, the bridal party and parents returned and were introduced by Eric from DJ Professionals.

A delicious dinner catered by Bon Appetit was served around 6:00 featuring sliced stromboli, cheese ravioli, chicken marsala, bacon wrapped scallops and more! YUM!!!

After dinner, toasts were given from the maid of honor and best man. Then the gorgeous cake, created by Hot Pink Cake Stand, was cut and enjoyed.

Around 7:00pm, it was time for the real party to get started. Rose and Jay danced their first dance to "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz, followed by Rose and her father dancing to, "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra. Finally, Jay and his mom shared a special moment dancing to, "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart. Eric kept the party going with classic dance hits! This group stayed on the dance floor! One of the special moments of the night was the garter and bouquet toss. The bridesmaid who caught the bouquet and the gentleman who caught the garter had a lot of fun putting the garter back on!

As the night came to a close around 10:00pm, we sent off Rose and Jay in style with a sparkler send-off. Ray with Baca Photography was there to capture all of the memories of their big day. Check out some of his other amazing shots too!
