The Schreck couple said their vows to eachother outside on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The ceremony was heartfelt and personal to the family as it was performed by the brides brother.
Included in the ceremony, was the reading of the book 'I Wish You More'. Each page offered a saying such as 'I wish you more treasures than pockets.' that had special sentiment to the couple. The couple designated this book as their guest book for the reception.
Following the ceremony, the guests were led inside to gorgeous decorations, flowers, and a slew of colorful desserts.
The room had a slight rustic/beach-y feel, accompanied by blue and pink table linens. The centerpiece for each table was a small green plant in a decorated mason jar from Coastal Succulent.
The wedding party, including the bride and groom, had their own all-white table that stood out from the rest of the room. It had beautiful flowers from Lou's Flower World and adorable starfish accents.
The couple offered an array of 'sweets' for their guests that ranged from raspberry lemon tarts, to cannolis, to macaroons! Additionally, the couples gave out candles from The Old Wilmington Candle Co. as party favors.
As the reception continued, emotional toasts were given from both sides of the wedding party which led to the cake cutting! This gorgeous cake was done by Pink Baking Company and had all of the guests coming back for seconds!
Doug from DJ Professionals then got the party going by getting everyone out of their seats and ready to dance! At the end of the night, the couple was sent off by friends and family holding glow sticks representing the beautiful idea of 'letting love glow',
The guests seemed to be having an amazing time and we're so happy they were able to have the wedding of their dreams at The River Room! Congratulations to the newly wedded Mr. & Mrs. Schreck!
