Ashleigh and John had a wonderful ceremony on the J.W. Brooks deck of The RiverRoom on a sunny Friday evening. Small, rustic columns and flowers were a beautiful backdrop for the personalized ceremony for the couple, which including a reading from the Mother of the Bride and a unity candle lighting.
After Ashleigh and John said their vows, guests found their way into The RiverRoom for the reception. A rustic, southern theme was very much achieved throughout the space. Neutral tones with pops of pink were the perfect combo!
Tables were decorated with their own unique centerpieces, while guests could find their seats according to the name tags on key chains.
A down home, southern dinner of fried chicken, barbeque, slaw, green beans, hush puppies and biscuits were on the menu for the night. Two flavors of wine slushies were served on the chalkboard bar, in addition to a variety of beer and soda.
The dessert table was just beautiful! Decorated with the same rustic decorations, there was an assortment of goodies to choose from; cake, cupcakes, cake pops, and the bride and groom's favorite cookies.
As the night wound down, guests signed the guestbook and picked their favor. Instead of a traditional guestbook, the bride and groom had guests sign a picture frame for them to hang in their home to remember the night. The favor display continued the rustic theme with homemade caramel popcorn stacked in wooden crates. They chose popcorn because he "popped" the question!
The newly weds ended their night with a sparkler send off by family and friends. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Anderson!
