Una Dia de Felicidades

Justine and Renato said their "I do's" on the deck at The RiverRoom this evening. Tonight's wedding brought together two different cultures and their family blended as one. It was such a beautiful sight to see. The ceremony was officiated by Weddings of Topsail. Afterwards, they celebrated with family and friends inside of our room. Melissa from Knot Too Shabby Events planned and decorated the wedding and reception. The tables were decorated in a beautiful Tiffany blue table cloths with coral and ivory accents provided by Etc Party Rentals.  The centerpieces consisted of lanterns and white hydrangeas, while fresh flowers and candles covered the room.

Bon Appetit catered tonight's reception. The menu included: pasta plum tomato salad, grilled vegetables, mini crab cakes with lemon dill and cajun aioli, shrimp and grits, and caprice chicken. Beer, wine and mixed drinks, as well as non-alcoholic drinks, were served at the bar.

Tammy Hodge from Creative Cake Designs made the delicious 3-tier ombre wedding cake. Not only was it visually pleasing, the cake tasted just as good, if not better, than it looked! Tammy always does an amazing job on her cakes.

After dinner and cake, David from DJ Professionals & Video got the night started with introductions of the bridal party. Afterwards, the bride and groom danced the Rhumba as their first dance. Once, everyone finished eating, the party got started and the dance floor was hopping. A River Runs by Me Photography captured tonight's special moments for the bride and groom.

We enjoyed hosting your beautiful day here at The RiverRoom. We wish you many, many years of happiness!
