Courtney and Daniel celebrated their very own wedding ceremony and reception here at
The RiverRoom on September 12th, 2014! The couple expected around 60 guests and set the room up accordingly. Melissa of
Knot Too Shabby Events did a great job setting up the room just as Courtney & Daniel wanted. The ceremony was scheduled to happen on the riverfront deck but with a chance of rain, we made the call to have the ceremony inside against one of the pretty brick walls in The RiverRoom. We were still able to hang the ribbon backdrop for the ceremony and the reception-style ceremony turned out better than Courtney & Daniel could even imagine!
Han Hills was the officiant and was super relaxed and flexible with the rain plan. Han prides himself on being a humanist so he's great for any type of couple, religious or not!

The lively couple chose a classic red and blue for the colors of the wedding. This color combo has been a big hit this year! The bride and her bridesmaids even wore red high heels. The centerpieces included small red, blue, turquoise and cream fabric flowers inside of a mason jar filled with pearls. The bride & her family hand-sewed all of the centerpiece florals, one by one! We love how they turned out! Courtney found an artist on Etsy to make her handmade paper bouquets in her color scheme. Very chic!

The room was set with 8 round tables accompanying 6 chairs each and a rectangular headtable for the bridal party. All of the bridal party has been friends since middle school so it was really neat to see that everyone is still friends! The tables were lined with turquoise linens provided by
ETC Party Rentals. Another unique aspect was the "record player" glass table with the guest book. The couple definitely knew how to make a statement. Everything came together so nicely!
Middle of the Island provided all of the catering for the reception. There were 2 servers to help deliver food with beer and wine available at the bar.
One Belle Bakery baked the adorable 2 tiered cake. The bottom layers were outlined with simple pearls to complete the chic look. The cake kept with the themed flowers and decorations that went right along with the room.

A big thanks to Rob and Ben of
Brick Street Cinema,
DJ Professionals and Video for playing music, and
The Audio Visual People for providing the Edison Lights. The bride and groom definitely enjoyed themselves on the dance floor! Everyone was full of happiness and had a smile on their face the entire time. The night definitely ended smoothly, even with all the chaos of moving the ceremony inside thanks to Melissa! Congrats from everyone here at The RiverRoom, Courtney and Daniel! We wish you the very best!
