"Like a river meets the sea": Heather and Jake's Love

The big day is finally here! Heather Leonard is marrying her love, Jacob Holland in Wilmington, NC at the Covenant Moravian Church. After their 4:00pm ceremony, the guests headed down to The RiverRoom for their classic black and white wedding reception. The room looked beautiful and elegant...perfect for a wedding! Thanks to Etc. Party Rentals, Heather and Jake had seating for 86 guest, including their sweetheart table for two. One of the things we love about Etc. Party Rentals, aside from their amazing customer service, is that they actually come and set up all of your rentals instead of just dropping it off. Plus, their delivery fee is only $50! You can't beat that!

Once the bridal party arrived to The RiverRoom after taking pictures, Dave with DJ Professionals introduced the new Mr. and Mrs. Holland. Then, we enjoyed a mouth-watering buffet from Middle of the Island Catering. They served menu options like marinated chicken, tenderloin, mac and cheese, squash casserole, green beans and a number of tasty salads.
Heather and Jake had their first dance while everyone was finishing up dinner. They danced to "Then" by Brad Paisley. Next, Heather had a sweet dance with her father to "I Loved Her First" by Heartland. Last but not least, Jake danced with his mother to "Your Song" by Elton John. After the champagne toast, the dance party was on! Dave kept the music upbeat and fun.

The cake was designed by a family friend named Judy Pauler. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and tasted just as nice! Chris Zachary was the photographer for Jake and Heather. To see more images from their big day, check out Chris Zachary's blog! The couple also rented out 18 spots at the Icehouse Parking Lot through Park Rite Wilmington to assist with guest parking. VIP Limo provided transportation for the bridal party to and from the ceremony site. Roxanne with Island Florals made Heather's bouquet! Thanks to the crew at Wilmington Wine for providing the alcohol and bartending for our event. One great thing about Wilmington Wine is that they will buy back any unused alcohol.

Stunning sunset over the Cape Fear River tonight!
We finished the night with a bang. Heather and Jake opted for a sparkler send off! This is always such a fun way to end a great night! We would like to congratulate Heather and Jake and we wish you an eternity of love and happiness. It was a pleasure being part of your biggest and best day yet!
